Flying change for maximum output
Sheet metal refinement in the central
wash and oiling station
The handling system consists of a conveyor belt, two highspeed
feeders, each with two pallet carts moving on the RoundTrack®, and a centring station. The first robot ensures
the component supply; the second robot stacks the ejected
blanks from the station. After unloading or loading, the feeder
changes sides. This ensures a continues de-stacking
and stacking. After cleaning and lubrication the blanks are
placed in the correct position by an automatic centring,
using centring guide rails and crowders. The metal sheets
are finally picked up from the feeder and placed in an ordered
fashion on the pallet carts.
Advantage: Through the de-coupling of the cleaning and
lubrication process, the production equipment
has better capacity utilization, with
less downtime and higher buffering capacities.
